We are a 1101 local non-profit organization to benefit conservation of oceanic resources in Puerto Rico. Our goal is to clean, restore and maintain the oceans, reefs, and beaches of the island. Our strategy focuses on water filtration, coral restoration, and sand cleanup. Our execution relies on the involvement of volunteers to make an impact.
We are dividing our effort on three (3) phases.
1. Beach Clean Up.
2. Filter the Ocean water.
3. Restore and reforest coral reefs.
We are looking for volunteers and sponsors that would help us clean up beaches that are forgotten around Puerto Rico. We are also looking to have seminars in the coast communities to explain the importance of the maintenance of the beaches.
Oysters and other mollusks will be a crucial part of our second phase as we will need to reproduce a significant amount. They naturally filter the ocean and level the Ph of have a clean and balanced water.
This will help up achieve a healthy ocean.
Coral reefs create more than half of the oxygen of the world and many nutrients used in the pharmaceutical industry. These are very delicate and can be killed but just the touch. After having the water's Ph balanced and clean we will begin to reforest and restore the about 2,000 square miles of coral reefs in Puerto Rico.
